Community energy assessment and strategy 

Our first step is to engage with local authorities and communities to understand any existing community energy projects and gauge their potential. 

Through creative collaboration with local partners and with reference to any previous work, we will design a detailed delivery plan.  

Assessment and strategy can be delivered as a standalone project that provides:  

• Support for local authority staff to develop their knowledge of community energy to progress their strategies for reaching net zero carbon emissions.  
• Information for local groups so they can understand the opportunities of and challenges associated with community energy projects.
• Strategic planning to harness the potential of community groups and other stakeholders in order to develop community energy in a district.
• Advice on funding opportunities to develop the community energy sector.
