UK Power Networks and Community Energy Pathways are working with community groups across the South-east to provide personalised home energy advice. Through community events and home visits, local energy champions are providing impartial advice on topics from small changes you can make in day-to-day life to low-carbon technologies such as solar panels.
Our first contract ran from 2023 till 2025 and reached over 20,000 people with critical energy advice. As well as providing vital support to vulnerable people, this project has allowed our delivery partners to grow their local presence, gain confidence, and become integral community organisations. It has also created local, skilled jobs in a growing sector. We are delighted that our energy advice partnership will continue in 2026 under a new contract for an initial 2 years – a testament to the incredible dedication of countless community energy champions.
