  • Coordinating news stories and case studies, and updating social media and the website
  • Supporting colleagues to write clear design briefs, maintaining online project management systems, and agreeing design deadlines
  • Other reasonable tasks appropriate to the role

What we’re looking for

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with strong attention to detail
  • Good organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Confidence using Microsoft Office and digital collaboration tools
  • The ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a collaborative team
  • Experience updating websites using a content management system (such as WordPress), or the willingness and ability to learn this quickly

Desirable criteria — it would be an advantage if you have:

  • Experience working in the community energy, environmental, or sustainability sector
  • Knowledge of community energy, renewable energy, energy efficiency, or climate action
  • Experience using email marketing platforms, such as Mailchimp
  • Basic photography, video editing, or graphic design skills
  • An understanding of SEO and website or social media analytics

How to apply

Please send your CV and a short statement (a letter, or a few paragraphs is fine) telling us why you’re interested in this role and Community Energy Pathways, and how your skills and experience — from paid work, volunteering, education, or other life experience — relate to the criteria above.
